WikiLeaks is a a nonprofit organisation which publish secrets/classified information. Above is a picture showing what it looks like and it's logo.
Whether it is good or bad?
I personally think it is good and bad. I would sit on the fence rather than go for a side.
Why WikiLeaks is good
When Governments work in secrecy they often make a lot of poor judgements and bad decisions. Sometimes we could help them as a large group. If they make a decision that we may disagree on, we can then with WikiLeaks have a say in it. This way we can see all the rules that affect us. Although Obama said there was going to be less secrets, there were a lot. This is a quote from a survey: Transparency and accountability are essential elements of good government. Likewise, "a lack of government transparency and accountability undermines democracy and gives rise to cynicism and mistrust," according to a 2008 Harris survey commissioned by the Association of Government Accountants.Although the Politician says it will kill many people, it is they who invented carpet bombing and sacrificed a lot of people. Although Wikileaks will cause embarrasement towards politians, but can't these small things be sacrificed for the greater good- a healthy democracy?
Is WikiLeaks bad?
WikiLeaks has been very trecherous in releasing information, in which all it's sponsers e.t.c have severed any ties it had with it. These are some of the sites: 
"Amazon, booted WikiLeaks off its hosting service; and PayPal has suspended its donation-collecting account, damaging WikiLeaks’ ability to raise funds. MasterCard announced Monday it was blocking credit card payments to WikiLeaks, saying the site was engaged in illegal activities, despite the fact it has never been charged with a crime."
The US think it is so terrible they are thinking about the assasination of it's most visible spokesperson- Julian Assange. Here is a photo of him below.

The fact that WikiLeaks may spill anymore crucial evidence is a major threat. Say for instance if you are in a war you do not want all your enemies to hear about your plans and stratergies. The "State Secrets" were named secret for a reason. If they got into the wrong hands, there would be destrction. Also doing all of this will embarass every politician. It is just as cruel for the world to know all your secrets and you could have none. It would make the Government feel unsafe as if they are being watched. This would create huge uncomfort and do many other things. If you voted someone for Prime Minister so that they could rule, but if WikiLeaks was there it would be like the world is ruling not the person that you elected.
