What is the meaning of Copyright and Public Domain?

Copyright is the protection on an original object. This object can be in terms of many different types of media. Such as literary, music, artistic e.t.c Importantly a copyright cannot be on an idea which is made by a person. For instance the theme in a book where for example when a son is captured and the father goes out to save him. This cannot be copyrighted. If you copyright something you are allowed to reproduce that thing a lot of times. To copyright something, you do not need to register anything.By marking your creation with this symbol: © . It shows that you have copyrighted it. It lasts usually for 70 years or until the creator dies.
Public Domain:
This is when an item is ineligible for copyright protection, or whether the item has expired it's copyright protection.It means a object which isn't controlled by anybody. It is public property and can be utilized and copied by anyone.

Nintendo 3DS

I will be talking about the Nintendo 3DS. Above is a picture of what it looks like.
It is a very interesting device as it can make 3D effects without any glasses needed. It can play games which are meant for the DS as well. When viewed it has been said that it had such amazing processing power that succeeds the Wii. Also with the 3D glasses it could compare with the visual graphics of the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The big drawback I think on the Nintendo 3DS is that it only has 3 hours of game play if you left it on normal brightness which is extremely little as the Nintendo DS slim could go up to 15 hours of game play with the normal brightness. Also it has Wi-fi access which is a huge difference. There is also a Mii system on the 3DS where you can customize the player to what you look like (just like on the Wii). The 3DS has banned this product to children of 6 years and younger as it may possibly harm their vision). Overall I think it is quite amazing the way you can have WI-FI and 3D vision in games without glasses. Although there is many downsides which I have explained (battery life and that the 3D vision only works at a certain angle). IGN has said that it has 2.5 to 4hrs of game play.
